 I came across your website and wanted to share my story about what happened to me recently as I was given a shot of Depo provera to reduce my adenomyosis symptoms .
I’m a mother of 3, and recently discovered that I have adenomyosis, it scared me a little as my Dr warned me that I might need to remove my uterus , I was mentally not ready for it so she gave me an alternative to Mirena or Depo provera . I chose Depo and regret every single day since . First 6 days I was alright just had sore breast and when I mentioned it to my gyno she suggested I start on Evening prime rose oil . On the 7th day of my injection my life has just changed drastically because what I experienced for another 20 days was unreal and no one could understand what was happening to me . Sudden panic and anxiety attacks that lasted for 4-6hrs , blood pressure spikes out of no where every 10 minutes for few hrs , insulin spikes, blurry vision , dizziness , weakness , brain fog , memory loss , bloating , acne , headaches. Back pain, neck pain , spasms on my neck that lead to nerve jamming . I started having speech delay, I couldn’t think straight , I couldn’t explain myself . Shortness of breath , insomnia . I would rush to an emergency on a daily basis and they would do tests and there is nothing wrong with me . They could not understand what was happening to me so they sent to neurologists and had to do endless amount of tests , seen 5 different reputable neurologists who linked my symptoms to Depo provera . My symptoms were persistent and only after 2 month I started taking control over the situation and injection slowly started to wear off and I started feeling slightly better with the therapies that I was doing to be able to walk and be myself again. I had to start on electromagnetic therapy for my nerves as I was in a constant pain ! My nerves were on the edge . I also begun with Kinesi Therapy for my neck and back , supplements intake , breathing therapy , balanced diet and exercise It’s been 3 month since I had my shot and I can honestly say I went through hell and came back. I want to warn as many women as possible not to ever do this poison injection as it will destroy u like it destroyed me . I’m still waiting for my periods and hormones to regulate . I wish I never took DEPO PROVERA
