 I just got my first Depo shot about a month ago and I am already experiencing weight gain. I also started having a strange symptoms about two weeks ago with numbness and weakness in my right arm. I kept telling my husband that I thought I needed to see a chiropractor, but nothing seemed wrong with my back and I hadn’t done any strenuous activity. However, after I started reading up on the effects of this drug, I noticed that “sudden numbness or weakness on one side of the body” is a noticeable side effect! I am discontinuing use of the Depo shot and will search for a new (and safer) birth control methods.
